Imelda Newsom is an experienced HR professional currently serving as a Senior HR Generalist at CooperVision since October 2022. Previously, Imelda held the position of People Operations Manager at Panzura and spent over a decade at Poly as a People Shared Solutions Partner, where support was provided to the North America region. Additional experience includes roles as HR Representative at Tharco, Senior Staff Admin at Bio-Rad Laboratories, HR Manager at Macy's West, and HR Specialist at Sybase, Inc. Imelda holds a BA in Interdisciplinary Field Major with Emphasis in Organizational Behavior from the University of California, Berkeley, and an AA in Liberal Arts from Diablo Valley College.
