Eric Levine has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and organizations. In 1989, they started as the Principal at The Pathways Schools, and later became the Director of Educational Programs at The Jefferson School in 1996. In 2005, they established Eric A. Levine & Associates, providing advocacy services to parents and children in special education. Eric also managed grants focused on studying the overrepresentation of African American students in special education and the effectiveness of work readiness programs for incarcerated youth. In 2012, they joined ClearView Communities as the Executive Director and later worked as a Marketing and Program Development Consultant. Eric also served as a Consultant at Villa Maria School from 2012 to 2013. Currently, they hold the position of President & CEO at CooperRiis Healing Community since 2019. Additionally, since 2008, they have been the Owner and Director of Eric A. Levine and Associates, LLC, offering technical assistance and educational advocacy services for children and families.
Eric Levine has an extensive education history. Eric obtained their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Psychology from the University of Maryland between 1980 and 1982. Later, from 1983 to 1985, they pursued a Master's degree in Special Education and Teaching at The George Washington University. In 1988, they furthered their education by earning an Ed.S degree in Special Education Vocational and Transition Services from the same institution. Finally, they completed their highest level of education, an Ed.D degree in Special Education, from The George Washington University between 1993 and 2000.
