Laura Edwards, CPA, CA, CPA(WA), currently serves as Vice President Finance at Cooper Equipment Rentals Limited since October 2022. Previously, Laura held the role of Controller at Sleep Country Canada from 2015 to 2022, contributing to the operations of a leading mattress retailer. Earlier experience includes positions such as Director of Finance at TransGaming, Inc. from 2013 to 2015, Finance Manager at Algorithmics, an IBM Company in 2011-2012, and Revenue Manager at Blinkx Inc. from 2009 to 2010. Laura began their career at KPMG LLP, where Laura worked as an Audit Manager from 2002 to 2009, gaining significant experience in SEC compliance and technical accounting across various sectors. Laura holds a Bachelor of Accounting degree from Brock University, obtained between 2000 and 2005.
