Chad Peterson, CRSP, is an experienced Environmental Health and Safety Advisor currently employed at Cooper Equipment Rentals Limited since January 2022. In this role, Chad is responsible for the development and implementation of Alberta Emergency Response Assistance Canada (ERAC) -E2 Planning for multiple locations and conducts monthly branch inspections to identify hazards. Prior experience includes serving as a Health and Safety Supervisor at Sabina Gold & Silver Corp., where Chad aided in the transition of the Corporate Safety program and the development of the Health and Safety Management System. Chad has also worked as a Safety Coordinator at Centron Group, managing site COR requirements, and as a Safety Advisor at CANA Construction Ltd., overseeing safety coordination and incident investigations. Early career experiences include serving as Safety Manager/Coordinator at Twin Peaks Construction, focusing on COR certification and WCB claims management. Chad holds an OH&S Certificate from the University of Alberta.
