Mariaelena Traverso has a diverse work experience. Mariaelena is currently the Co-Founder and CEO of Cooltura, where they lead a team focused on helping brands and creators create effective video content for TikTok. Prior to this, they worked at Wimage Agency as a Partner and Head of Strategy & Operations, where they managed the agency's productivity and efficiency, developed digital marketing strategies, and secured partnerships. Mariaelena also has experience in the renewable energy sector, having worked as a Renewable Energy Coordinator at Gea Solar and Sigma Energy Consulting Corporation, where they coordinated commercial operations and developed solar energy solutions. Mariaelena started their career at L'Oréal as a Marketing Industrial Placement Intern for La Roche-Posay.

Mariaelena Traverso received a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Management from Cass Business School from 2012 to 2016. Prior to that, they attended Vittoria International School from 2010 to 2012, where they pursued an IB diploma. In 2009 to 2010, they studied Fashion Design and Business Context at Istituto Europeo di Design. Additionally, Mariaelena pursued a Fashion Design Diploma at Central Saint Martin's College of Art and Design starting in 2010.
