Rui Song has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. They began their professional journey in 2006 as an Information Analyst at Xian Kesheng Information Consulting China, where they worked until 2011. In 2013, they briefly worked as an iOS Developer at Xian Orient Information Technology Company. They then joined Marlabs Inc. in 2015, where they held the position of Senior Java Software Engineer until 2020. During the same period, they also worked as a Software Engineer Contractor at CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield. Finally, in 2020, Rui Song joined Convoke as a Sr. Software Engineer.

Rui Song has a Master's degree in Computer Science from Oklahoma City University, which was obtained between 2011 and 2013. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Northwestern Polytechnical University China, completed between 2007 and 2009. Additionally, Rui Song has obtained certifications in the field of cloud computing, including the AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate from Amazon Web Services in May 2023, and the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services in October 2019.
