Tom Kukec started their professional career as a Strategic Resources Intern at State Farm in 2016. Tom then worked as a Global Product Supply Intern at SC Johnson and as an Engineering Learning Assistant at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. In 2017, Tom joined Grainger as a Supply Chain Analyst. From 2018 to 2023, they worked at HealthSmart International, holding roles such as Distribution Operations Planning Manager, Senior Operations Manager, and Director of Operations. Currently, Tom serves as the Director of Procurement at Convey Health Solutions.

Tom Kukec attended Maine West High School from 2009 to 2013. Tom then went on to study at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from 2013 to 2016, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Industrial Engineering. In addition to their degree, Tom also obtained certifications in Six Sigma Green Belt and Lean Green Belt from the Institute of Industrial and Systems Engineers in 2015.
