Harshil Shah began their work experience in 2018 as a Graduate Research Assistant at Virginia Tech. In this role, they worked on various projects related to computational modeling and CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics), specifically focusing on propeller effect and wing propeller aerodynamics. Harshil utilized tools such as OpenFOAM, StarCCM+, and VSPAero to develop C++ code and set up computational models. Harshil also studied the interference effect of the wing and propeller. In 2020, Harshil joined Convergent Science as an Engineer II - Development, where they currently hold the position.
Harshil Shah completed their Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda, graduating in 2018. Afterward, they pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from Virginia Tech, which they completed in 2020.
