Mathias B. Pontoppidan serves as a Managing Partner at Pontoka since September 2020, focusing on delivering ESG narratives for visionary management teams. Currently, Mathias holds the position of Advisor for Fundraising & Stakeholder Strategy in Scandinavia at the National Investment and Infrastructure Fund (NIIF), a major private markets investment platform in India. Mathias also provides ESG advisory at Azora, targeting climate solutions, and Convergent Finance, addressing ESG matters at the fund and portfolio level. Previous roles include ESG Advisor at Caspian and Welspun Group, M&A Advisor at A.P. Moller - Maersk, Strategic Advisor at Jocata, Business Development Manager at Karma Capital, and Head of Cross-border at Cipher-Plexus Capital Advisors. Mathias holds a Bachelor Honour Degree in Global Marketing from the University of Greenwich and an International Business Baccalaureate from Niels Brock.
