Joe Cortinhas has over 20 years of experience in the IT industry. Joe began their career in 1996 at General Electric Corporate as a Systems Management Specialist and IT Service Manager. In this role, they led a team of support representatives for Corporate HQ and remote offices, and designed, deployed, and managed software distribution infrastructure, processes, and metrics across North America and European offices.

In 1999, Joe accepted an 18-month assignment as a Six Sigma blackbelt at GE IT Solutions, focused on process improvement using six sigma concepts. During this time, they mentored 20 greenbelts towards certification and redesigned the data center operations incident management process, resulting in a 90% reduction of backlog.

In 2005, Joe joined CompuCom as IT Program Director for North America and Key Account Manager. In this dual role, they led the services division in US, Canada, and Mexico and implemented a global multi-language service desk and knowledge program, desktop support, SCCM administration, MS exchange support, Cisco support, and Windows migration.

Most recently, Joe has been at Converged Compliance Solutions since 2016, where they serve as Chief Operations Officer and Director of IT. At CCS, they have selected, developed, and implemented IT infrastructure, business tools, and market data analytics program. Joe has also led development and defined the latest generation of core software product with 24x7 global support model and implemented a global partner program in US, UK, and Brazil.

Joe Cortinhas attended Fairfield University from 1991 to 1994, studying Engineering. Joe then attended Western New England University from 1994 to 1996, earning a BS in Technical Management with a Concentration in Math. Joe has also obtained various certifications, including a Six Sigma Black Belt Certification – Level I from GE IT Solutions in June 2005, Advanced Project Management from General Electric Corporate, GE Management & Leadership Certification from General Electric Corporate, ITIL v3 Foundations, and PRINCE2® Foundation Certification Training from CompuCom.
