Jamie Beckland has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Jamie is currently the Co-Founder & President of Contxt, a company that focuses on protecting and securing personal data. Previously, Jamie was the Founder of Compass Capital and an Advisor at MangoTango Asia and Symphonic Software. Jamie also served as the Interim Chief Executive Officer at OneAppOregon, where they played a key role in expanding housing access. Jamie held multiple roles at Janrain, Inc., including VP of Product, VP of Marketing, VP of Customer Success and Strategic Services, and Digital and Social Media Strategist. Jamie was a Member of the Board of Directors at Valor Water Analytics, Inc. and Validic, where they contributed to the growth and success of both companies. Jamie founded and served as the CEO of BookTurtle.com, a reseller arbitrage business. Jamie's experience also includes building the Emerging Media practice at White Horse, where they developed social media marketing programs for various consumer brands.

Jamie Beckland completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Studies, Spanish Language and Literature, Economics, and Dance from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point between 1996 and 2000. Then, Jamie pursued a Master's degree in International Commerce and Policy, specializing in the field of study, at George Mason University from 2005 to 2007.
