Miguel Rizo is an experienced engineer specializing in accident release prevention, currently serving as an Accidental Release Prevention Engineer at the Contra Costa HazMat Program since February 2016. Rizo's expertise encompasses Process Safety Management (PSM) and Risk Management Programs (RMP) for chemical and petrochemical facilities, with a focus on risk assessment, process hazard analysis, operator training, and incident investigation. Prior experience includes roles as a Process Engineer and Reliability and Maintenance Engineer at AECOM from April 2010 to January 2016, and as a Senior Staff Engineer at PES from May 2006 to September 2009.
