Director, Commodity Research And Applied Analytics And Insights at Continental Resources

Ben Aaron has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Ben started their career as a Research Assistant at MIT Lincoln Laboratory from August 2004 to June 2006. Ben then served in the US Navy, where they held the positions of Naval Nuclear Power Student from June 2006 to May 2008 and Naval Meteorology and Oceanography Officer from May 2008 to October 2011. At Williams, they worked as an Engineer Sr from November 2011 to April 2017, focusing on hydraulic modeling and project development for gas gathering systems. Currently, at Continental Resources, they have held several roles, including Senior Commodities Research and Hedging Analyst from April 2017 to May 2020, Manager Commodity Research and Hedging from June 2020 to October 2021, Director of Commodity Research and Hedging from November 2021 to January 2022, and their current role as Director of Commodity Research and Applied Analytics and Insights since January 2022.

Ben Aaron attended the United States Naval Academy from 2000 to 2004, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering. Ben then pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in the same field at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology from 2004 to 2006.
