David Jones has a diverse and extensive work experience. David co-founded Contextual (formerly Pointzi) in 2019 and served as the CEO. In 2021, they became a director at Fishburners. In 2010, they became a director at Prismism. David also has a role as a mentor and investor at Startmate, an Australian mentor-driven fund.

In 2014, David co-founded StreetHawk and served as the CEO until 2019. Prior to that, they were involved with ThreatMetrix from its inception in 2005, serving as the founder and a member of the board of directors. During their time at ThreatMetrix, they held various positions including CTO and CEO. In 2018, ThreatMetrix was acquired by RELX Group for over $1 billion AUD.

David's earlier experiences include advisory roles at Encassa and Sensory Networks. David was the CEO and founder of SpamMATTERS, a company that specialized in mass forensic processing of evidence for law enforcement. Before that, they worked as the Vice President of Research at Surfcontrol.
