Sebastian Serafin has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Sebastian is currently the Deputy Director at the Berlin Business Office in the USA, where they facilitate a framework to attract companies to Berlin and supports the growth of local businesses. Prior to that, they founded and served as the Chairman of the Board at Contentflow, a cloudbased video livestreaming SaaS platform. Sebastian was also the CEO of Akademie für neuen Journalismus, where they published a print magazine, hosted workshops, and organized media events. Sebastian has experience in political education as an Event-Manager at Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung, and as a Project Manager at Jugendpresse Deutschland e.V., where they managed workshops and fundraising projects. Sebastian also worked as a Junior Consultant at AGENON Gesellschaft für Unternehmensentwicklung im Gesundheitswesen mbH and BRIGDES Consulting Group AG, providing consultancy services to healthcare and high-tech companies. Sebastian started their career as Editor In Chief at MTW Gaming GmbH.

Sebastian Serafin started their education journey in 2006 at the University of Potsdam, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in German studies and Jewish studies. Sebastian successfully completed their studies in 2009.

Following this, in 2009, Sebastian enrolled at FernUniversität in Hagen, where they embarked on another Bachelor of Science degree, this time in Political and Administrative Sciences. Sebastian dedicated three years to this program, completing it in 2012.

In addition to their academic qualifications, Sebastian obtained a certification in Economic Development: Leading Economic Growth from Harvard University in May 2022.
