Okpetu Lordson has a diverse work experience spanning from 2007 to 2023. Okpetu started their career as an Associate Editor at SuccessDigest, where they generated, researched, wrote, and edited business and internet opportunities stories. Okpetu also wrote and designed sales copies and weekly advertisements. After that, they worked as a New Media Campaign Manager at Olatunde Rotimi Paseda Gubernatorial Campaign Organisation, creating web content for the candidate's political campaign website.

In 2016, Okpetu joined MULTIMEDIALY as the Chief Operations Officer, where they provided full content creation and marketing services to corporate firms and individuals. Okpetu offered writing and editing services, as well as copywriting.

Okpetu then served as an Editor at Concise News Global from 2016 to 2020, responsible for editing and overseeing content creation.

In 2020, Okpetu joined Seefar Enterprise as an Independent Research Consultant, and at the same time became the Managing Partner at Ogbonge News. In these roles, they conducted research and managed the operations of the organizations.

In 2022, they joined PWAN Group as a Content Strategist, where they developed content strategies. Finally, in 2023, they became the Chief Operating Officer of a company where they contributed their expertise.

Okpetu Lordson obtained a Bachelor's Degree from the University of Benin from the years 2000 to 2004. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications including a DataVille 'Development Research' Fellowship Certificate from Dataville Research LLC in August 2022, a GIZ Entrepreneurship Instructor Certificate from Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH in February 2022, a UNDP-OSDG Certificate from UNDP Istanbul International Center for Private Sector in Development (UNDP IICPSD) in February 2022, a Management & Strategy Institute Ambassadorial Certificate in September 2021, a Non-profit Fundraiser Certificate from Cornerstone OnDemand Foundation in July 2021, a Non-profit Marketing Specialist Certificate from Cornerstone OnDemand Foundation in July 2021, a Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Certificate from the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business in June 2021, a Project Management (PMEC) Certificate from Management & Strategy Institute in June 2021, a UN Volunteers Certificate from UNV Online in June 2021, and an EDC - Pan-Atlantic University Certificate from Enterprise Development Centre - Pan-Atlantic University in November 2020.
