Christopher D. Jones has an extensive background in social work and public health, with a focus on program evaluation and strategic planning. He has held various leadership roles at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, including Deputy Director and Team Lead for key initiatives such as the COVID-19 Response and Population Health and Healthcare Office. Prior to joining the CDC, Christopher worked as a Clinical Social Worker and Researcher, providing therapy and evaluation services for children and adolescents in various treatment settings. He holds a PhD in Social Work from The University of Georgia and has a strong track record of using evidence-based interventions to improve population health outcomes.
