Julie Ray possesses extensive experience in community engagement and business management. As the owner of Cafe Francisco since June 1994, Julie has demonstrated entrepreneurial skills while also serving as the Calendar/Listings Editor and Writer at Contemporary Media, Inc. since May 2012. Julie's background includes managing circulation for Memphis magazine and Inside Memphis Business, contributing to various community organizations such as the Mayor's Action Council for Disabilities and the Uptown Community Association. With a rich history in local governance, Julie has been involved in projects aimed at enhancing community living conditions and has even run as a candidate for the Memphis City Council, District 7. Julie Ray holds degrees from The University of Memphis and has furthered education at San Francisco State University.
