Shai Gershon began their work experience in 2001 at Contel Technologies, where they held the role of VP. Engineering until 2017. In 2018, they were promoted to Co-Chief Executive Officer at the same company. In 2004, they also started working as the CEO of Trunovate - Smart IIoT Solutions until 2014.

Shai Gershon has a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Electrical Engineering from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, which they completed from 1996 to 2000. Additionally, they obtained an Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA) degree in Business from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, attending from 2010 to 2012. Shai Gershon also holds the ISO 27001 Foundation - Information Security Certification from SII-the standards institution of Israel, which they acquired in May 2020. Shai has additional certifications in ISO 9001 from SII-the standards institution of Israel and UL-508A from Intertek, although the specific timing of these certifications is not provided.
