Kate Walton is an experienced human resources professional with a comprehensive background in people support and culture management. Currently serving as the People Support Manager at Contact Energy Ltd since June 2022, Kate previously held leadership roles such as People and Culture Manager at Queenstown Airport Corporation Ltd and Head of People at Port Otago. Kate's career spans various positions, including Human Resources Advisor at PGG Wrightson Ltd and Kalgoorlie Consolidated Gold Mines, as well as roles at Alacer Gold Corporation and BHP Billiton. Kate holds a Bachelor of Business Studies in Human Resource Management from Massey University, completed in 2008.
