Emily Ross (nee McConnell) is an experienced HR professional currently serving as a Senior People Experience Business Partner at Contact Energy Ltd since April 2021. Prior to this role, Emily spent over eight years at Vodafone, progressing from an HR Consultant to the People Services Manager. Earlier experience includes positions as an HR Advisor at CBRE and Waitematā District Health Board, where valuable skills in generalist HR and union relations were developed. Emily also worked as an HR Contractor at CLS Group and began a career as a Recruitment Consultant at Phoenix Recruitment. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Commerce in Management and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Otago.
