Nicolas Concha Ortiz is a Chemical Civil Engineer with extensive experience in the mining and environmental sectors. Currently serving as Ingeniero de Reportabilidad Procesos Mina Planta at CONTAC since November 2021, Nicolas has implemented improvements in the metallurgical reporting process for Lumina Copper, enhancing review and management workflow to deliver quality information on time. Previously, as a Memorista at ENAP from November 2020 to August 2021, Nicolas developed viable alternatives for the reuse of acidic waters and estimated investment costs for the best option. In an earlier role as Inspector de buenas prácticas medio ambientales at Aconcagua Foods, Nicolas minimized organic material and water discharge in production plants, leading to a significant reduction in pollutants. Completed studies at Universidad de Santiago de Chile from 2013 to 2020.
