Jennifer Smith, MBA, SPHR, SHRM-SCP has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Jennifer is currently the Human Resources Manager at Consumers Credit Union, where they oversee all HR functions. Prior to this, they served as the Senior Recruiter & HR Specialist, where they proactively sourced and attracted talented candidates for the credit union. Additionally, they worked as the Marketing Events & Sponsorship Coordinator, responsible for planning and managing internal and external events and partnerships. Jennifer also has experience as a Member Service Representative, providing exceptional member service and building relationships with members. In 2020, they joined Kalamazoo Valley Community College as an Instructor, teaching HR Certification Preparation courses. Jennifer also works as a Barre Instructor at Kalamazoo Barre Studio and previously served as the Office Manager & Marketing Specialist at Birch River LLC, where they managed daily administrative tasks and organized nonprofit events. Jennifer Smith obtained their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Davenport University from 2021 to 2023. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree in Management and Marketing from Western Michigan University's Haworth College of Business, which they attended from 2007 to 2009.
