Susan Weinstock is an accomplished leader in consumer advocacy, currently serving as President and Chief Executive Officer of the Consumer Federation of America since May 2022. With a robust background in financial resiliency programming for individuals over 50 at AARP from June 2017 to May 2022, Weinstock has also lent expertise as Director of the Office of Consumer Policy at the U.S. Department of the Treasury from July 2016 to June 2017. Previous roles include Director of the Consumer Banking Project at The Pew Charitable Trusts and Financial Reform Campaign Director at the Consumer Federation of America. Weinstock's extensive experience is further supported by a progression of roles at AARP beginning in 1993, where Susan developed initiatives to enhance financial and retirement security. Weinstock's educational credentials comprise a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government from Clark University and a Master of Education from Marymount University.
