Andrea S. Rutledge

Andrea Rutledge has a strong background in the field of architecture and construction management. Andrea currently serves as the President & CEO of the Construction Management Association of America (CMAA) since October 2017. Prior to that, they were the Principal of RGKief LLC, starting in July 2017. From October 2007 to June 2017, Andrea was the Executive Director of the National Architectural Accrediting Board, where they were responsible for accrediting professional degree programs in architecture. Before that, they held various roles at The American Institute of Architects (AIA), including Managing Director, Alliances from June 2005 to September 2007, and Executive Assistant to the EVP/CEO from April 2003 to June 2005.

Andrea Rutledge pursued their education in a chronological manner, beginning with their bachelor's degree. From 1979 to 1983, they attended the University of Colorado Boulder, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Theatre & History. Following this, they went on to earn a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) degree in Drama from The Catholic University of America, where they studied from 1985 to 1988.
