Ramon Nafarrate is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in system engineering and management within the transportation sector. Currently serving as a Senior System Engineer and Engineering Manager at CAF EM since December 2016, Ramon previously held the position of Onboard System Engineer at CAF from July 2007 to March 2020, focusing on train functionality and control systems. Prior roles include Product Engineer at ULMA Packaging, specializing in flow pack machines and C programming, and R&D Engineer at Ikerlan, where contributions were made to projects involving voice recognition and embedded systems. Ramon holds a degree in Telecommunications Engineering from Universidad del País Vasco and has furthered education at Mondragon Unibertsitatea.
