Emily Acland is an experienced legal professional currently serving as the Legal Director at Constellation Brands New Zealand since January 2023. Prior to this, Acland held the role of Senior Corporate Counsel at Vocus Group New Zealand, where leadership of the New Zealand legal and risk function was provided while directly reporting to the Chief Executive. Acland's experience includes serving as General Counsel for Vocus Group from September 2019 to February 2023, and as Corporate Counsel at Orion Health from January 2015 to June 2016. Earlier in the career, Acland worked as an Associate at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer LLP, focusing on Public M&A and cross-border transactions, and as a Solicitor at both Cameron Fleming & Associates Ltd and Russell McVeagh. Acland earned a First Class Honours degree in Law from Otago University between 2004 and 2008.
