Sophie Pabbruwe has extensive work experience in the legal field. Sophie started their career in 2006 as the founder and board member of a foundation called stichting M.O.E.T. In 2009, they worked as a stagiaire at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the Middle East Department. Sophie then worked as a stagiaire at Bohler advocaten and Norton Rose Group in 2010. From 2011 to 2017, Sophie worked as an Associate at Allen & Overy, specializing in corporate and competition law. During this time, they also had a secondment at Procter & Gamble. Sophie then held various legal roles at Porticus Amsterdam CV, Porticus, and finally Constanter Philanthropy Services, where they currently serve as the Head of Legal.
Sophie Pabbruwe attended the Washington International School in Washington D.C, United States from 1999 to 2003 and earned an International Baccalaureate diploma. Sophie then went on to study liberal arts at Brown University from 2003 to 2004. Sophie pursued their Bachelor's degree in Laws (LL.B) with a focus on Dutch law and conflict studies at the University of Amsterdam from 2004 to 2008. Sophie furthered their education by completing a Master's degree in International Peace and Security at King's College London from 2008 to 2009. Finally, they obtained their LLM in European and International law from the University of Amsterdam in 2009-2010.
