Trent Rickman has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Trent began their career as an Instrument Man at Gahringer Engineers in 1980 and worked there until 1984. Trent then joined the Washington State Department of Transportation as a Transportation Engineer and remained with the company for 33 years until 2017. In 2018, Trent joined FIGG as a Senior CAD Designer and worked there until 2020. Currently, they are employed as a Senior Designer at CONSOR Engineers.

Trent Rickman briefly attended Wenatchee Valley College in 1981 where they pursued studies in Land Surveying. Trent did not complete a degree during their time at the institution.
