Karen Tatman has extensive work experience in engineering and project management. Karen started their career at Caltrans in 1986, where they worked as a Transportation Engineer and Project Manager for over 13 years. In 1999, they joined CONSOR Engineers as a Principal Engineer. In the same year, they also became a Principal Engineer at Quincy Engineering, which later merged with Murraysmith. In 2016, Karen served as the Past President of ACEC Oregon. Currently, they continue to work as a Principal Engineer for Consor Engineers.

Karen Tatman attended the University of California, Davis from 1984 to 1986, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering.
