David Johnson has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. David is currently working as the National Business Development Manager at CONSOR Engineers since April 2023. Prior to this, they served as the President of the Society of American Military Engineers starting from August 2021. From September 2020 to March 2023, David was employed at Houston Engineering, Inc. as the Client Development Manager.

In 1983, David Johnson obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Biology and Chemistry from Gustavus Adolphus College. David then went on to pursue a Master's degree (MS) in Environmental Biology at the University of Minnesota Duluth, which they completed in 1989.

From 1990 to 1991, David attended the University of Minnesota, studying Civil and Water Resources Engineering with a specialization in Hydrology. Although no specific degree is mentioned for this period, it can be assumed that they pursued further studies in the field.
