Jun Lu currently serves as the Manager of Geo-Mechanical Engineering at CONSOL Energy, a position held since February 2022, after previously holding the same title from January 2009 to September 2020. Prior experience includes work as a Mining Engineer at MSHA from September 2020 to February 2022 and as a Research Assistant at West Virginia University, contributing to research on the Radio Image Method and rock electromagnetic properties. Jun Lu began an academic career as a Lecturer at Xi'an University of Science & Technology, guiding courses in mining engineering. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Mining Engineering from West Virginia University and a Master of Science (MS) in Mining Engineering from Xi'an University of Science and Technology.
