Tim Sheehan is an accomplished ecological modeler with extensive experience in both ecology and computer science. Since 2008, Tim has worked at the Conservation Biology Institute, focusing on global to regional modeling of ecological processes and developing software for ecological modeling. Previously, Tim was an applications programmer and software engineer at BRUT ECN/NASDAQ, where responsibilities included developing real-time transaction-based applications and maintaining a large database for stock transactions. Earlier roles included research assistant positions at the University of Oregon, and several significant positions at Oak Ridge National Laboratory, where Tim managed special projects and provided programming support for massively parallel supercomputers. Tim's educational background includes a Master of Science in Biology from the University of Oregon, a Master of Science in Computer Science from the University of Colorado Boulder, and multiple degrees in Geology from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
