Roger Eritja is a seasoned biologist with extensive experience in entomology and mosquito control. Currently serving as Responsable de Entomología at Mosquito Alert since 2015, Roger leads a citizen science platform focused on managing invasive mosquito species such as Aedes albopictus and Aedes aegypti across Spain and beyond. In addition, Roger has been a biologist at Consell Comarcal del Baix Llobregat since 1983, co-directing efforts in urban mosquito species control, overseeing general management, public relations, and applied scientific research. Roger holds a Doctorate in Biology with a specialization in Entomology from Universitat de Barcelona and has a background in computing from the same institution.
