Gustavo Borges is an accomplished legal and technology consultant with extensive experience in human rights, digital law, and disinformation. Currently serving as a C20 Member in WG7 - Digitalization and Technology for G20 Brasil 2024, Gustavo also holds the position of Executive Director at LABSUL, contributing to advancements in human rights and technology. As an Expert Advisor at the World Economic Forum, participation includes initiatives focused on digital safety and the metaverse. Additional roles encompass policy advisory positions at the Supremo Tribunal Federal and Tribunal Superior Eleitoral, addressing disinformation and media literacy, as well as involvement with the Conselho Nacional de Justiça and ongoing academic contributions as an Associate Professor at Universidade do Extremo Sul Catarinense. Gustavo's educational background includes a PhD in Law with a focus on Human Rights and a Postdoctoral in Digital Law from the University of Oxford.
