Martin Rolén has worked in the tech industry since 1997. Martin began as a Quality Assurance at Nordea in 1997, then worked as a Freelance Software Engineer from 2001 to 2007. In 2007, they became the Owner and Technical Director of Southend Interactive, and held roles such as Lead Programmer and Software Engineer, Senior Technical Software Engineer, and Operative Group Member. From 2010 to 2011, they were a Board of Education Member at The Game Assembly / Hermods AB. From 2011 to 2013, they were an OpenGL ES Member at The Khronos Group. In 2013, they became a Lead Engine Programmer at Massive Entertainment - A Ubisoft Studio. Martin has been with Lånekoll since 2015, where they are currently the Chief Technology Officer.
Martin Rolén attended Pauli Gymnasium from 1996 to 1999, where they completed an Upper Secondary Technical School. Martin then attended Itek from 2000 to 2000, where they studied as an Application Developer. Lastly, they attended the School of Future Entertainment from 2005 to 2007, where they studied Software Engineering and Game Programming.
