Oasis Vali has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. They are currently working as a Software Architect at StepChange since January 2022. Prior to this, Oasis held the position of a Senior Software Engineer at conscia.ai since September 2019. From July 2015 to August 2016, they served as the Chief Software Engineer at Social Seva Initiatives, where they played a pivotal role in the development of the educational platform OpenShiksha. They also worked as a Software Engineering Intern at Bazaarvoice in 2014 and 2013. Additionally, they gained experience as a Software Engineering Intern at Virtium in 2013 and as a Software Engineering Intern at Altera in 2012. Oasis also explored roles in different industries, like working as a Storefront Team Member at Tim Hortons from November 2011 to April 2012, and as a Mechanical Engineering Intern at Centra Industries Inc from September 2011 to December 2011. They began their career as a Software Engineering Intern at AppZero in 2011.

Oasis Vali received their primary education at Delhi Public School Pune from 2004 to 2010. They then went on to attend the University of Waterloo from 2010 to 2015, where they earned a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree in Mechatronics Engineering. In 2014, Oasis Vali also had the opportunity to study as an engineering exchange student at the National University of Singapore, specializing in Mechatronics Engineering.
