William Cook began their professional career in 2013 as a Help Desk Support for the University of Wisconsin-Parkside. In 2015, they moved to 7th Dimension LLC. as a Help Desk and DevOps Manager. In 2017, they worked as a Biological Science Technician for the U.S. Forest Service and as a Software Developer for Independent Contractor. In 2018, they took on the role of Access Administrator for TEKsystems. In 2019, they joined Conquer as a Lead Full Stack Developer, where they created technical specifications and documentation for new features, planned sprint capacity among other lead developers, planned product roadmap, and assisted other developers on their entire department with their code. Their tech stack leans heavily on Go for backend microservices and React with Typescript for the frontend.

William Cook attended Bethel College from 2009 to 2011, studying Biology. 🌳 William then attended Indiana University South Bend from 2011 to 2012, studying New Media and Film and Video. 🌳 William attended Columbia College Chicago from 2012 to 2013, studying Film and Video with a Documentary concentration. 🌳 William then attended the University of Wisconsin-Parkside from 2013 to 2015, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Biological Science. Finally, they attended Udacity in 2018 and received a Front End Web Development Nanodegree.
