Violeta V. is an experienced Merchant Risk Manager, currently working at ConnectPay since March 2022, where responsibilities include the creation and implementation of risk frameworks, compliance management, and oversight of Banking-as-a-Service programs. Prior experience includes a Blue Book Traineeship at the European Commission, and multiple roles within Paymentwall, Inc., including supervision of underwriting and chargeback teams. Violeta has also worked as a Chargeback Specialist at Paynetics and in customer service roles at Paysafe Group and InterCard Finance. Educational qualifications include a Master’s Degree in Finance from VUZF University and a Bachelor’s Degree in International Economic Relations from the University of Economics - Varna. Additionally, Violeta has international exposure from studying in Japan and has a background in Japanese language education.
