Michael Mowlem is the Chief Investment Officer at Connection Capital LLP, overseeing product strategy for the firm's alternative investment offerings since April 2023. With extensive experience in private equity, Mowlem has held key roles including Head of Private Equity at Sandaire and CEO/Managing Director at LGV Capital, where significant involvement in mid-market buyouts and various portfolio companies took place. Additional roles include Direct Equity Consultant at Aviva Capital Partners, supporting the establishment of their private capital investment business, and various non-executive director positions. Mowlem's career began in corporate finance at SG Hambros, following education at the University of Salford and City of London School for Boys.
