Stefano Volpi has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Stefano began their career at NESTLE in 1987 as a Product Manager and stayed with the company until 1993. Following this, they joined Danone as a Group Product Manager, where they worked until 1997. Stefano then moved on to Groupe PANZANI, where they served as the Fresh Pasta Business Director for two years. In 1999, Volpi joined JACOBS DOUWE EGBERTS as the VP of Marketing for Coffee & Tea in France, before leaving in 2003. In 2004, they founded Solution Valeur, a company they led until 2011. Stefano then joined Avril, where they held two positions - Director of Strategy, Marketing, and Key Account Projects from 2013 to 2016, and Business Development & Innovation Director for Food, Feed, and Care from 2011 to 2013. Finally, in 2016, Volpi became a Co-Founder of Connecting Food.
Stefano Volpi began their education in 1982 at Università Bocconi, where they studied Business Administration and Economics. Stefano completed their studies in 1986. In 1987, they attended Centromarca to participate in a master marketing program, completing it within the same year. In 2002, they attended INSEAD for Advanced Marketing & Sales training as part of the Sara Lee Module. Most recently, in 2021, Stefano Volpi enrolled in Endless frontier labs, deep tech program at NYU Stern School of Business.
