Rita Bellinger is an experienced marketing and housing finance professional, currently serving as the Marketing Coordinator at the Connecticut Housing Finance Authority since 2014, where responsibilities include managing marketing efforts for homebuyer and foreclosure prevention programs. Rita is also the owner of Cranberry Pond Farm, LLC, a venture into home improvement contracting with over 25 years of experience in rental property management. In 2003, Rita founded Free Wheelers: Therapeutic Driving With Miniature Horses, focused on enhancing the lives of disabled children through therapeutic programs with miniature horses. Past roles include guaranteed rural housing specialist with USDA, mortgage specialist positions at various banks, and a credit executive role at Foxwoods Resort Casino, showcasing a strong background in mortgage production, housing programs, and financial services. Rita holds a degree from Johnson & Wales University.
