Bryan Garcia has extensive work experience in various roles and organizations. Bryan started their career at the U.S. Peace Corps as a Volunteer from 1995 to 1997. Later, they joined Connecticut Innovations, where they served as the Director of Energy Market Initiatives from 2000 to 2006. Bryan also worked as the Program Director at the Center for Business and the Environment at Yale from 2007 to 2011. During this time, they concurrently held the position of Chief Community Officer at Earth Markets, LLC from 2007 to 2009. In 2011, Bryan became the President and CEO of CT Green Bank.
Bryan Garcia holds a diverse education background spanning various fields. Bryan began their academic journey in 1993 at the University of California, Berkeley, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Economy of Natural Resources, which they successfully completed in 1994. Subsequently, Bryan ventured into environmental management by attending the Yale University - School of Forestry & Environmental Studies from 1998 to 2000, where they acquired a Master of Environmental Management degree. Simultaneously, they pursued an additional degree in public and private management at the New York University - Robert F. Wagner School of Public Service, completing their Master of Public Administration in the same timeframe. Furthermore, Bryan expanded their knowledge in finance, attending the NYU Stern School of Business from 2002 to 2004, where they pursued a Master's degree in Business Administration with a focus on Finance.
