Raymond Ng has extensive work experience in the field of User Experience (UX) design. Raymond'smost recent position was as the Head of UX at Connected Freight, a role they have held since March 2021. Prior to that, from 2019 to 2020, Raymond worked as a Usability Researcher at United Overseas Bank Limited (UOB), where they were responsible for setting up the usability research capability for the digital banking product and conducting usability testing in Thailand and Indonesia.
Before joining UOB, Raymond served as a Senior UI/UX Designer at StarHub from 2018 to 2019. In this role, they collaborated closely with stakeholders in designing intuitive digital solutions and followed the principles of User Centered Design.
From 2017 to 2018, Raymond worked as a Senior Consultant, Creative Service UX at NCS pte ltd. In this capacity, they provided consultation on UX/UI projects, led design thinking workshops, and supported the alignment of priorities in development sprints to ensure a user-centered approach.
Earlier in their career, Raymond was the UXD Team Lead at Titansoft Pte Ltd from 2014 to 2017. In this position, they led a team of UX designers and researchers, implemented AB tests to improve conversion rates, conducted UX workshops, and drove UX processes such as user research, usability testing, prototyping, and quantitative analysis.
Raymond's work experience also includes a role as a Web Designer at Popular Holdings Limited from 2009 to 2014.
Throughout their various roles, Raymond has demonstrated expertise in UX design, usability research, stakeholder collaboration, and the application of user-centered design principles. Raymond is experienced in working in agile environments and has a strong understanding of business requirements and strategy.
Raymond Ng's education history begins in 2002 when they attended Nanyang Polytechnic, earning a Diploma in Multimedia and Infocomm Technology in 2005. In 2012, they pursued further education at Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts, acquiring a Certification in Visual Communication. Moving forward, in 2016, Ng obtained a UX Certification from Nielson Norman Group, NN/G, completing the UXC#1011511 program. The following year, in 2017, they attended the Copenhagen Institute of Interaction Design (CIID) - summer school, focusing on machine learning for interaction design. During the same year, Ng also studied designing at city scale at the same institution. Ng's most recent educational endeavor appears to be their involvement with The Interaction Design Foundation, where they pursued studies in Human Computer Interaction. In terms of additional certifications, Ng obtained a Professional Scrum Product Owner 1 certification from Y Innocation in August 2019.
