Marlos Barbosa has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Marlos began their career in 2001 as a Management Consultant at INDG, where they were responsible for training managers and supervisors in management methods and financial planning.
In 2003, Marlos joined TOTVS as the Head of Project Management, overseeing the delivery of management consulting projects and managing key accounts. Marlos later became a Project Leader at the company.
In 2007, Marlos founded OThink, where they served as the CEO and provided advisory services in business management, strategic planning, M&A, and market entry. Marlos also managed the project portfolio and led business development efforts.
From 2012 to 2013, Marlos served as a Member of the Board of Directors at W7 Venture Capital.
In 2013, Marlos joined Business Integration Partners (BIP) as the CEO of BIP Brazil. Marlos was responsible for leading business development, sales engagement, and commercial structuring of consulting projects. Marlos also played a key role in the post-merger integration of BIP do Brasil & OThink.
Since 2019, Marlos has worked at A111 Capital as an Operating Partner/Advisor. Marlos is responsible for searching, analyzing, and providing strategy and finance analysis on potential targets for acquisition, with a focus on specific industries like consulting, business services, telecom, digital services, e-retail, and consumer goods.
In 2022, Marlos became the Chief Executive Officer at both Connecta Satellite Solutions and Satellite Phone Store.
Marlos Barbosa holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Strategy, Marketing & Management from Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management. Marlos pursued this degree from 2017 to 2018. Before pursuing their MBA, Marlos completed a CBA degree in Finance and Financial Management Services from Insper Instituto de Ensino e Pesquisa from 2003 to 2005. Marlos also holds an Eng degree in Metalurgical from FEI, which they obtained from 1996 to 2000. In addition to their degrees, Marlos obtained a Certificate in Derivative Markets from B3 Educacional in 2000, focusing on Banking, Corporate, Finance, and Securities Law.
