Tariq Aris is a seasoned entrepreneur and investor, currently serving as Co-Founder and CEO of Motion, a fit-tech game combining Web2 and Web3 elements, in private beta since December 2019. Additionally, Tariq holds multiple positions as Limited Partner at Paper Ventures, FOV Ventures, Portfolio Ventures, and Connect Ventures, all since 2022 or later. Tariq has been an Investor and Chairman of DUSK since June 2013, managing the UK’s largest nightlife platform with over 1 million downloads and notable clients such as Diageo and Bacardi. Previously, Tariq was a Proprietary Trader and Team Leader at Marex from June 2004 to June 2014, where key achievements included establishing an internal quant desk and leading a team of 30 traders focused on European and US STIRs.
