Before this, they held various roles at Bryant Park Corporation / 34th Street Partnership, including Director of Brand Partnerships, Associate Director of Brand Partnerships, and Brand Relations Manager, where they managed B2B outreach, negotiation, and execution of venue sales for experiential marketing activations, film and photo shoots, and sponsorships. Matt also has experience as a Marketing Manager at Stanton & Company, PMK•BNC, NYC Bike Share, LLC, AIGA/NY, and Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia, where they managed client relationships, brand and event sponsorships, and integrated marketing strategies. Additionally, they worked as a Marketing Coordinator at Chicago 2016 and NYC2012, where they managed partnerships, targeted IOC Evaluation Commission members, and served as a project lead for sponsor activations at the Summer Olympic Games.
Matt Castellan completed their undergraduate education from 2000 to 2004 at the University of Notre Dame, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree. Their field of study included Political Science and Computer Applications. In addition to their degree, Matt Castellan also holds a certification in "Negotiation and Leadership: Dealing with Difficult People and Problems" which they obtained from Harvard Law School in June 2016.
