Manuel Elizondo has over 25 years of experience in purchasing, materials, logistics, and supply chain management. In 1995, they began their career as an Information Analyst at CEMEX Central. Manuel then moved on to become a Project Advisor in 2000, a Procurement Leader in 2002, a Negotiations Control Advisor in 2002, a Strategic Planning Manager in 2009, and a Director of International Purchasing at Kansas City Southern Railways in 2011. In 2020, they were promoted to Director of Materials and Logistics at Kansas City Southern Railways and, in 2022, they began their current role as Director Purchasing/Materials at CONNECT HOMES. Throughout their career, Elizondo has been responsible for building, managing, and developing purchasing/materials teams, managing inventories, negotiating global categories, preparing and managing budgets, and tracking raw material markets. Manuel has also led projects such as developing a commercial/financial system and implementing a strategic sourcing methodology.
Manuel Elizondo has a varied educational background. In 2009-2010, they completed a Certificate in Lean Six Sigma, Green Belt, Black Belt from Villanova University. In 2002, they earned a Master in E in Commerce from Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de. In 1999-2000, they completed an MBA in International Business Administration from Thunderbird School of Global Management. In 1994, they earned a Bachelor Degree in International Business from Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de. Manuel also attended Stanford University, but did not complete a degree.
