Mike Hall

Mike Hall has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of music. Mike started their career in 1995 as an Assistant Professor of Trombone at Eastern Michigan University, where they worked until 2000. In 2000, they joined the University of Kansas as an Assistant Professor of Trombone and stayed until 2006. In 1998, they began working as an Assistant Editor for the International Trombone Association Journal, a role they still hold. In 2002, they became a Performing Artist at Conn-Selmer, Inc. Recently, they have been working as a Professor of Music, specializing in Trombone and Euphonium, at Old Dominion University since 2016. Additionally, they served as a Trombone Instructor at the Virginia Governor's School for the Arts from 2007 to 2020. Mike Hall's extensive experience and expertise in the field of music make him a valuable asset in any organization.

Mike Hall obtained their Bachelor of Music Education degree in Trombone, brass instruments from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point from 1987 to 1990. Mike then pursued their Master of Music degree in Trombone Performance at the University of Arizona from 1990 to 1992. Later on, they completed their education with a Doctor of Musical Arts degree in Trombone Performance from the University of Minnesota from 1993 to 1995.
