Michel Ortega has extensive work experience in various roles and companies. Michel started their career as a Finance Director at Katerin Congresos, S.A. in 1991 and worked there until 1998. Following this, they joined Leroy Merlin España as a Controller from 1998 to 2003. From 2003 to 2020, they served as a Director at Conforama España, S.A. In 2020, they transitioned to Conforama Ibérica as the Director of DMU Norte y Logística Web.

Michel Ortega completed their Licenciatura degree in C.C. Empresariales from Universidad de Valladolid in the years 1985-1990. Later, from 1990-1991, they pursued a Master's degree in Dirección y Administración de Empresas from Escuela Europea de Negocios.
